Hey Friends, Happy Friday.
My name is Meghann Harty and I am the founder and owner of unbridled courage. We specialize in equine guided transformation or equine guided coaching. We are officially located in Central Oregon, and we're actually coming to you today from the round pen.
Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to talk about this offer that we have available the month of September and next month in October, called The Remote Round Pen.
I just completed a coaching call with a client, in this virtual coaching format with my mare and her name is Lady. We had an incredible conversation about the topic of health and wellness. The wisdom that lady brought forward today was about changing how we approach our fitness, including our exercise, food and relationship with your body, and all those things that fall into the domain of wellness, or health.
The suggested changes is from an outside-in approach to an inside-out approach.
What we discovered in our session is that when we are coming from an outside in approach that can be filled with- I should, I have to, I need to -all these expectations that tend to come from the outside world, even though they can be within our own voice.
The switch that lady offered was bringing our attention to an inside-out approach, where we're tending to our bodies from a place of compassion, from a place of patience, while still bringing in what we would call the strict guide, instead of the judge.
Lady so beautifully punctuated the lesson. At the end of the session with the client, we were starting to hear some of those more judgmental statements and Lady turned around, she showed us her rear and she laid down.
We got a good chuckle because we felt like she brought the message, "Oh-no-you-don't, we're not going down that path we're going to put that old story to rest."
And then the, the metaphor the image that she shared was the image of a beautiful wellspring of health and wellness bubbling up from the inside out.
And here in Central Oregon we're closely located to the head of the Metolius River. You can actually go to the head of the river where the river bubbles up from the side of a hill. This is an image of fluidity, variety, and compassion.
What a beautiful way to think about our health and wellness.
Lastly, I thought it would be fun to share with you the actual coaching space so you can kind of see a little bit of the format. I take these calls from a selfie stick it's very hysterical but we, it gives her an opportunity to come in and out of the conversation and share her energy.
You can clearly see she's here being very quiet and very grounded and, and that was very much the energy that we spent most of the coaching call basking in.
This work is a great opportunity to really look at things from a different perspective. And that's, that's at the heart of the coin guided coaching is looking at our topic our challenge our inquiry from a different perspective. And typically a perspective weren't getting to on our own. The horses have their own way of guiding us gently to that to that bucket of wisdom that's untapped.
I wanted to share this beautiful moment with you we again. This offer is available this month and October and I'll include a link in the comments here below. We would be honored to share this space with you in this way and I look forward to answering any questions you might have about how it works. Until then, we honor you taking a moment to listen to this, this video and sharing this space with you. I hope to have the honor to go a little bit deeper, and that Until then, happy Friday.
